Stamped Canvas
I woke to a rainy old morning this morning and as soon as my feet hit the floor I just felt like crafting. I would love to say "soooo I just crafted" but I had to do the housework first, yes boring, I no.....lol..... Anyway I have been tossing this idea around in my head for a while now. I seen these on a wall at the hairdressers ages ago. So I decided to make my own Stampin Up version of a "Girls clip board". I have sponged all over with Pink Pirouette and then just around the edges with crumb cake. I then stamped Baroque Motifs in Crumb cake directly on the canvas. I used En Francis Background stamp in Crumb Cake then stamped the Medallion stamp in Pink Pirouette and cut it out. I then made my little flower using the Scallop Punch. I then stamped the butterflies with the stamp out of the Punch Potporri stamp set and stuck them on with a dimension. I used a retired pink pirouette ribbon for where the clips go and then the new lace that is available out of the Summer Mini on 1st December. Isn't it cute......Josephine loves it.....These would make great Christmas Presents......

Teachers Gifts
I have seen then floating around blog land on a few different blogs but am not sure who the original creator is. I made my own measurements to fit the hot chocolate sachets that I had. I made the boxes using Night of Navy, Whisper White & Brocade Blue, I also used the same colours on the card but also added some vellum cardstock. I am sorry about the quality of the photo's but I was rushing out the door yesterday morning and realised I forgot to photograph the cards and the presents. It was Nicholas last day at preschool yesterday! I carn't believe how quickly they grow up.....Now you can see the inside of the box well that side was filled with lindt and darrell lea chocolates when it was given to the teachers. I just didn't have any on hand when I took the piccy.....Lucky I would say because I would have only eaten them anyway.......

Soap Box
I needed to make a box to put some handmade soaps in that I bought for a friend's birthday present. I was so happy with how it turned out. I wanted to be able to see the soaps through the top so I cut it out and filled it with a piece of acetate. I teamed Kraft and Pink Pirrouette together which is another one of my favourite colour combinations. I used the organic outlines stamp set which I am actually loving as well at the moment. I think everything else is pretty easy to work out. Just ask me if you are unsure.......

Shadow Box Card
Hi there everyone, Seems I best apologise for my last of posts over the last two weeks, I carn't believe it has been that long. The first week I was keep busy preparing for my weekends class and I had visitors that weekend as well. My visitor actually bought the twilight DVD home with her, so that seen me in BigW on Monday purchasing all 4 books to the twilight series. So that has what has been keeping me from here all week. I started reading Monday night when I got home and am happy to say that I finished them yesterday, but also a tad unhappy as well because they were sooooo goood I would love to read another 4. Ok enough about my life I guess it's time to talk about the card. This is a Shadow Box Card and I have used the Pariasian Breeze DS Papers together with Kraft, Chocolate Chip, Night of Navy and Baja Breeze. I have used the Uncharted Territory Stamp set and I have stamped that on a piece of actetate with the White Staz On Ink Pad. I have also then layered the Night of Navy and Chocolate Chip Sail underneath. I finished off with some white brads. I hope you all had a lovely weekend.

Candles Candles Candles
Hi here are some of the candles we made at my weekend class and some others I made this morning for a stall that I am having tomorrow. I have used a range of different stamps and colours trying to get some variety but I really had to make two with Inspired by Nature and Upsy Daisy two of my all time favourite stamp sets. It's only a quick post today because I am trying to get some things crossed off my list of to do's today and things haven't really being going to plan...You no how sometimes you get days like that, no matter how hard you try to get things done it just doesn't happen. I can see a late nite ahead of me tonite to get organised for tomorrow.....

Covered Journal
This is the Journal I promised from yesterday's post. I made it to keep all my notes in for my
cricut machine. You no how sometimes you cut a particular size and then you can't remember what size it was or exactly what font it is. So problem solved for somebody with a bad memory like me, just write it down.....lol.....I have a group of ladies that come to my place once a month for scrapbooking lessons and I use my cricut machine so I have dedicated different pages for those ladies so that if I cut something for them it is also written down. I have used the Bella Rose DS Papers which are simply divine. I have used some chipboard letters which I have heat embossed with my heat and stick powder and then the Chocolate Supernova Fine Glitter. I have used one of the flower chipboards as a bookmark as well. I got this idea from Sam Post where she did a similar journal and used a bookmark as well. I am really happy with my little journal that will be put to good use......

Pretty Boxes
Hi there, Here is a cute little box that I made for my hostess on the weekend and another little box that we made with a card to match. The first box is made with Baja Breeze cardstock and the Good Friend background stamp. I also used the So Tweet chipboard that inked up with my stamp pads and then covered the flower and sanded around it to give a nice edge with a piece of paper from the Good Morning sunshine pack. I finished off with the ribbons out of the pigtails pack. They are very very cute..... My sentiment is from the really retro stamp set and I also glittered the centre with some supa nova fine glitter.
Everyone then made this cute little box with the Pocket Silhouettes stamp set and some of the different punches. The colours I used here are Pink Pirouette and Kiwi Kiss. I am really happy with how both these boxes turned out.

Finally the purse
Hi everyone, only a couple days late with my mothers day purse....lol....wow time seems to fly sometimes. I have also photographed the card that I gave mum this year. Generally, I like to make a special one for mum but time didn't permit this year, so I matched up the box with the Baja Breeze textured cardstock and some Urban Garden DS Papers with the matching build a brad. I made this purse smaller than my last one because I only wanted to put some pandora jewellery inside this time.
Now I had an email this morning from Beverley asking me to put my scissor beads on my blog, So here they are Beverley. Alison Charlton demonstrated these at convention so they aren't my original idea, however they are a fantastic idea and I love them. These are made from all the Beads from the Pretties Kit even the stopper on the end which I flattened with a pair of my husband's fencing pliers. If you have any jewellery making tools they would also do the trick just nicely. I dyed my pearls in Rose Red re-inker to give this soft pink look as you can see some of the rose red has come out of the inside after I put them together. If you would like to no anything else please just email me. Cheers!

I made these two little pretties for my friends birthday on Thursday. I wanted to use some soft pastel colours so I opted for the Tea Party Designer Series Paper, which by the way stampin up have a great special on this month, and then some pretty pastel cardstock to co-ordinate. The colours are Pink Pirouette, So Saffron & Almost Amethyst. The stamp set I have used is called crazy for cupcakes which I have been busting to crack open and have a little play with. Then I made this cute little purse to house the presents. One of the NZ Demonstrators demonstrated this at convention, I just carn't remember her name. She used the Eyelet edge punch and then put it through the crimper and that makes it resemble lace. I finished the purse with one of the filigree brads. I made my own measurements to fit what I wanted to put inside, thats why they are so versatile. I am hoping to get another one made but smaller tonite for mothers day so hopefully I will be back with that tomorrow.

Birthday Book & Card Organiser
Last month we made one of these Birthday Books & Card Organisers at class. Silly me forgot to take my camera to get some pictures of everybody's creations. We used the 3 DS Papers out of the Summer Mini at the time which were Ginger Blossom, Afternoon Tea & Bali Breeze. We split up into groups of three depending on the paper pack that you chose. It was great to see that everybody started with the same pack but could make something completely different to the person sitting next to them or if they preferred just copy the sample that I had made. Anyway Katrina that was at class emailed me these pics last nite of one of the books that she has made at home using the Fall Flowers DS Paper. Now I must say these were not my original idea I have seen them on various blogs and just adapted my sample according to my taste. This one I am displaying is one Katrina has made at home I think its simply gorgeous. Well Done and thank you for letting me show if off here........

I seen these cute little Angels on Alana's blog and i just couldn't wait to make them. They are made out of the fabulous flowers stamp set, the pretties kit and a piece out of the silver hodgepodge. I fell in love with them as soon as I saw them. So I will be making a few more of these for our Christmas tree this year. So far I have made this one in Pretty in Pink and one in Soft sky. I hope you are enjoying your sunday....

Kids Christmas Decorations
I had some fun the other day with the kids doing same kiddy craft. We decided to make some Christmas Decorations with "Mummy's Stampin Stuff" - OMG!!!!! I took a few big deep breaths and handed an ink pad each to my two year old and four year old. They had an absolute ball but to their dismay Mummy had to do the glitter bit. The colours were picked by Nicholas and Josephine. Nicholas wanted a yellow decoration and Josephine wanted a Pink decoration. So that is what we have made. We used the Chipboard pieces out of the Spring Mini Catty, only a couple of days left for ordering these.... I then stuck a piece of acetate to the back using tombow and then filled it with chunky glitter and then stuck another piece of acetate on the top to keep all the glitter in. We then punched a hole with the Cropadile and set a large eyelet and threaded some ribbon through. We had to have a Merry Christmas on there so we stamped that on a piece of white and punched it out and stuck to another piece of chipboard. The kids had heaps of fun.......

Post it Note Holder
I made this last nite after reading Keesh's make it Monday. I used the Summer Picnic DS Paper with the cherries on it. I live about 50kms west of Young and Young is the cherry capital of Australia and it is coming up to our Cherry Festival time. So i decided the paper with the cherries on it was very fitting to use as a gift for our visitors that we have during that time. I carn't wait for my first feed of cherries this year........
