Baby Card

I have been playing around with these cards all day and I had a thought that I could enter one of these in the ESAD challenge that is running this week - Stampless cards. So I used the DS Paper Spring Fling & Whisper White cardstock. The welcome baby is a rubon out of the Spring Mini. So this is the finished product. I couldn't get a really good photo tonite because it is so late but I wanted to get this on so I could enter. Will be back tomorrow with the rest of these cuties that I have made.....edited to add: got a better photo this morning!

Snow Flurries

This is another card using the same Snow Flurries Stamp set that I promised yesterday. This is such a cheap versatile set. I have used Soft Sky, Whisper White and Night of Navy. I then added the Merry Christmas setiment out of the Many Merry Messages Stamp Set. This was a very quick card to make.

Bad Blogger

Thats me I'm definately a bad blogger. Sorry guys the school holidays just sort of caught up on me and we also went away for a week or so. I did take all my card making gear with me away on holidays (wasn't a lot of room left for the rest of the stuff...lol.....) So I do have heaps of stuff to show you but I don't have any of it photographed yet. I have also been really busy preparing for all the events and workshops I have coming up. So bear with me I will get there...... This is a card I made using the snow flurries stamp set for a swap I was involved in. I have also turned the same design into a Christmas Card which I will post later. The colours I used here are Regal Rose, Whisper White and Certainly Celery.

Bronc Buster

I was looking at Kristina's colour challenge last nite and needed to make a Male Birthday Card so I thought how about I try to combine the two well it didn't work. This is the card I came up with using all the colours specified but the old olive I just couldn't get it in there to make it look right. I used the metallic brayer technique that steph showed us how to do on the ESAD Site. I am really happy with the result. What do you think?

Birthday Card

I used my cuttlebug machine on this card which is one of my new love's at the moment. The colours are chocolate chip and confetti cream. The large flower is stamped in Close to Cocoa on confetti cream and the stamp is out of the Fabulous Flowers stamp set. I stamped the flower three times and then cut it out three times. The small flower I stamped twice and cut that out also. I used the two way glue pen and some dazzling diamonds to add some bling. The leaves are stamped in always artichoke and also cut out. I finished off with some half pearls out of the pretties kit. I set a large eyelet on a cream circle cut out with the 3/4" circle punch and popped it up on a diamential then set the eyelet through the whole lot. That then gave me some room to wrap the gold cord around it to keep the gate fold card shut. The little present on the side I forgot to photograph inside as I made some of it so I will have to get back to you with that.

Sams Colour Challenge

I made this card for Sam's Challenge over on her blog. The colours were Perfect Plum, pretty in pink, rose red, soft sky and whisper white. I used the priceless stamp set and the so swirly wheel and some DS Paper out of the Notebook pack. I stamped the congratulations in Perfect plum and that stamp is out of the cheer & wishes stamp set. I need rose red ribbon and we don't have that so I used white and coloured it with the stampin write markers. I am happy with the result i think it looks better IRL must be my photography skills.....lol......

This is another challenge I decided to enter. The challenge is to case something out of the Stampin Up Idea book and catalogue. I cased the card on page 25 of the catalogue it is actually a Christmas card which I have changed to a Birthday card. I used the Stamp set summer by the sea and watercoloured using my aqua painters and crayons. The colours are old olive and cameo coral. This was really fun to play with.

I decided to the current challenge on the ESAD Site. The challenge was to Fall in love again! To use a stamp set that you havn't used in ages. Well it's Birthday's Best for me and now I no why Man did I have some trouble with this one. This is the second attempt the first one ended up in the bin and I would be two embarrased to post it anywhere except the bin. Is it only me or does any one else have trouble with this stamp set? Anyway I am quite happy with the finished product. The icing on the cake is a mixture of Crystal effects, dazzling diamonds and pretty in pink ink. I think everything is pretty standard if u would like to no anything please email and I can tell u. And by the way I did fall in love again I will be creating a few more cards with this set especially because there is a great deal coming on this stamp set next month!!!!!!!!!

Nicholas's Birthday

Gee havn't I had a run on birthday cards lately. In our family we celebrate all our birthdays in two weeks. Wasn't that great planning. lol..... Anyway this is Nicholas's birthday card, he did request an air seeder card but I just couldn't manage to pull that one off. I managed it for his cake but not his card. He got the tractor out of the By Land stamp set. I have wheeled the background with the My ABC's wheel I think it looks like a road..... This is just a normal A5 Card which I have made the pocket for in the front panel. That still gives you someone to write your message in the back then. I stamped the white panel with Happy Birthday and Love you much with the Family Phrases stamp set. I think it is quite cute and Nicholas loved it because it had a tractor on and even better a tractor that moved...

Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to all you Dad's out there! This is one of the box in the bags that I made for my dad and filled it up with lots of yummies. This is not my original idea and has been on many blogs. Cute isn't it. I have also made one for Christmas and one for a boy's birthday which I will photograph and post later. I have made this card because I fell in love with it on Michele's blog you can find it here. The colours are Night of Navy, Always Artichoke, Mellow Moss and Bordering Blue. It is a very simple card just a little bit of cutting to get it to look right. But I have had heaps going on lately so this was the card I made for my Dad. Enjoy your day dad!!!

Colour Challenge No 21

I made this card last month in one of my classes. When I saw Kristina's colour's I instantly thought of this card so I decided to recreate it using Kristina's colour's and I changed and added a couple of things. The vase is made using the large oval punch and the ends are cut off with the scissors and I have sponged around it to give it a little extra punch. The stamp set used is one of a kind. I used the small flower to decorate the background and filled the centre in with my white gel pen. I stamped the flowers and punched them out and then filled some of them with the white gel pen. Some of the flowers are raised up on stampin dimensionals to give it a bit more dimension. I have stitched the two top corners but it's not showing up on the photo. I will see if I can get a better photo later on when I have some more time. Hope you like it.....
