Salted Background Challenge

I was blog surfing and came accross this challenge which I thought would be good to have a go at. I have been trying a few different techniques and this is one I havn't tried but was really lots of fun to do. I have used going grey textured cardstock for the base the salted background is pretty in pink and basic grey. I have watercoloured using the markers and my aqua pen. I finished off with some grey and pink gingham ribbon. I am really happy with the result. I have had this stamp set for a while and have been busting to use it and I love it.

Colour Challenge No 13

When I seen the colours for this challenge I was so excited. I love these colours and thought they would be so easy to put together. Well wasn't I in for a surprise because this certainly was a challenge. This is the second card I made because I wasn't totally happy with the first and now I don't think I am overally happy with this one but its bed time and that will just have to do. Sometimes I think you can play with something to much and that is perhaps what I have done with this card or maybe there is just to much white. I carn't actually put my finger on what I am not totally happy with. Anyway the stamp sets used are looks like spring and wonderful favourites. The colours are as per the colour challenge.
This is the first card I made. I used pick a petal and stam sayings.

Scratch n Sniff

Sorry I have been so slack I promised this post a while ago, so here it is now better late then never I say. This is one of the cards we made at last weekends card day. I have cased this card from Kim my upline and have changed it a little bit. The stamp set is eat cake and the colours are Pumpkin Pie, Wild Wasabi and Brillant Blue and of course the absolutely beautiful ds papers.

Colour Challenge No 12

This is Kristina's 12th Colour Challenge and the colours are Sahara Sand, So Saffron, Wild Wasabi, Whisper White. I didn't have a lot of time to play around tonite so this is my quick card. If I get some more time tomorrow I might have another play, but I am happy with this card i think. What do you think? I have used the level one hostess set oh so lovely and stamped it in sahara sand and watercoloured with my aquapainter and ink. The Sahara sand base card is the yummy textured cardstock, another of my favourites.......

Color Challenge No 10

I have been admiring Kristina's color challenges for a while and this is the first one that I have had time to complete. It was great to get out of my comfort zone and try more than two or three colours on a card. I have made a little promise to myself to try and get back and do the other nine when I get time (lol)... But anyway's here is my card.....
