Welcome card

Yesterday my nanna rang me and asked if I could make a Welcome Home card because her neice is visiting us from America. She has lived in America for over 40 years now. We are catching up with her and her husband today for afternoon tea. The whole family is going to sign the card and we will give it to her as a welcome home momento to take home. I have used the bali breeze DS papers and a little bit of happiness level 1 hostess set and so many sayings level 1 hostess set as well. I copied the mojo monday sketch that I did through the week I liked it so much. I can see me using this sketch a lot. Only a month to go and we will get all new level 1,2 & 3 hostess sets in our new catalogue. How exciting.............

Mojo Monday Challenge 75

My mum rang me today and asked that I make her a wedding card. Before I got of the phone I new that I wanted to combine this card with one of the challenges sitting on my desk. I have a few that I want to get done this weekend and this was one of them. I think deciding on my colours was the hardest thing. I guess I'm a safe kinda gal....... So I went for Soft sky and whisper white. I have used these colours before on a anniversary card so I new I would be happy with those colours. The photo looks better IRL. The congrats stands out heaps more. The congratulations is one of the current sale-a-bration items that finish tomorrow. Contact me if you still don't have all your sale-a-bration sets.

Rak from Meighan

I opened my mailbox yesterday and collected my mail and there was a hand written envelope inside so I instantly opened it and inside was this beautiful hand made card from Meighan. Meighan is part of Stampin in oz group which I have also joined which sends out monthly RAK's. It is so nice to receive mail that doesn't have a window on it. I was really excited to receive this card so keep an eye out Meighan for your RRAK. Meighan has used the Crayon Resist technique to make this lovely card.

Eastern Blooms

This is another card we made at last month's workshop. We used the eastern blooms stamp set and I got my inspiration from Claire Daly another very talented stamper!!!! I again changed this to make it my own. All the girls will no at class they made a slightly different coloured card because I had cut up the wrong colour I had used purely pomegrante instead of rose red. So both colour combinations work rose red, certainly celery and garden green as well as purely pomegrante, certainly celery and garden green. Lucky I cut up a colour that matched!!!!!!!!!!!

All in the family again

Here is another card we made at Technique Class using the all in the family set. This is a really bright and fun card. A great tip that I passed on at this class is if you don't stamp the arms or leg exactly right you can get your black marker and just touch it up. We had lot's of touching up at class......... That dog stamped on there is for you Kylie........

All in the family

This is one of last month's technique class cards using all in the family and the stamp-a-ma-jig. I have used a variety of punches on this card. The spiral, square & various circle punches. The colours are Sage Shadow, Pretty in pink & Basic Black for the film strip. I like the effect the film strip gives.

Keeshs Colour Challenge

I made some time today to play with Keesh's Colour Challenge. The colours were Regal rose, Rose red, Sage Shadow & Whisper White. I stamped the weathered backgound stamp in Sage Shadow and the Script Background stamp in regal rose. I then two step stamped the flowers from the wild rose stamp set and cut them out. I stamped the swirly thing from Bodacious Bouquet in Sage Shadow. I then placed them where I wanted them and stuck em on. I finished with the rose red stitched ribbon and a white rubon. I hope you are keeping cool on such a hot hot day.......

Mojo Monday Challenge 72

I had a bit of time tonite to "craft" so I decided to have a go at the Mojo Challenge. I used the Simply Said Stamp set that had managed to make its way to the bottom of a pile of stamps. So I have dusted that one off and had a little stamp. I used Rose Red for the base and some Rose Red DS Paper with the polka dots on it. I then used some striped paper out of Winter Bright Simply Scrappin Kit. One of my new favourite flower fusion with a pink rhinestone through the centre. I also used my markers to stamp the from the heart and the main flower image. I think that's just about it. If you have any questions please just ask. Have a great day.

Here is another of Keesh's sketch challenges. For this challenge I used the Ocean Commotion stamp set and inked it up with my markers in Not quite Navy and Pumpkin Pie. I used the Spring Break DS Papers and some Large Eyelets with the rinestones stuck through them and finished off with some twine. Time to finish off some more jobs before bed. Cyu next time....
