Loads of Love

This is hubby's birthday card. The set I used was Loads of Love and Loads of love accessories. This is one of my all time favourite stamp sets. I used the paper piecing technique again. The colours are not quite navy and old olive. The patterned paper that I used is out of the DS Paper pack spring break. I finished off with a metal edge tag and some of the patterned paper punched out with my circle punches and off coarse the photo corner punch and some brads.

Colour Challenge No 20

Here is my card for Kristina's colour challenge . I thought this would be easy when I seen the colours but it was actually quite hard. When I seen the pattern on the lounge I immediately thought Bodacious Bouquet, which is what I have used. I sponged around the edge in choc chip its a bit hard to see in the pic. I finished off with some ribbon and a rubon. I am not sure about this card. I may try another if I get time. It isn't exactly how I imagined it would turn out *sigh* I was after a softer look. Anyway this is it for now. What do you think?

Another Christmas card

Here is santa on his surf board, I think he is really cute. I have coloured him in using the blender pens and ink. The cardstock is real red, bordering blue and always artichoke. I think this one will be sent to some friends in England it has a nice aussie feel to it.

Josephine's Birthday Card

I had Josephine's card pretty much finished when I was blog surfing and came accross Alana's site, so I cased her elephant and the kissing technique. The colours I used were Pretty in pink and Sage Shadow. The stamp sets are Wild about You and Season of Joy.

Colour Challenge No 19

This is Kristina's 19th Colour Challenge which I had time to play with today. My colour of choice was More Mustard. I saw the mustard colour in the bed head and that is what influenced my decision to use more mustard. I went for a simple design to using the stamp set lots of thoughts. I stamped the circle's in more mustard, basic black and basic grey. I finished off with some yummy taffeta grey ribbon.

Crazy for Christmas

Hi here is another Chrissy card. The cardstock I used is kraft, wild wasabi and garden green. This is a case of one of Kim's cards. (Whoohoo I just figured out how to post a link) The stamp set is Crazy for Christmas and the sanded background stamp. I have finished off by punching a slot with the slot punch and threading a piece of ribbon through and tieing it twice. Thanks for looking.

Christmas Cards

This was one of the Christmas Cards we made today. The colours are kraft and real red. I stamped with stazon on whisper white and coloured in with my aqua painter. I used real red and close to cocoa. The stamp set is Festive Favourites. I found a card similar to this on splitcoast where I got the idea from. I carn't wait to have a bit more of play with this set. The tag is made using both sizes of the tag punch, the slot punch and the window punch folded in half and set with a gold eyelet.

True Friend

I demonstrated this today at a party. The colours are real red and always artichoke. I was just looking at this card when I was editing it and I think it would have been nice stamped with Merry Christmas, it sort of reminds me of a aussie christmas card. There is an idea for next time. Anyway the stamp set I used is out of the new mini catty and is called true friend. Enjoy

Blossoms abound

Again I apologise for the quality of the photo. The colours are always artichoke & pumpkin pie. I seen this card on someone's blog and just loved it so I have recreated it but changed a few things. Sorry I carn't remember where to give credit to the correct person. But it is a great card and a fantastic stamp set. I have also used the polka dot background stamp & the corners punch.

Stationery Box

This is one of Andrea Walford's stationery cases that I have adapted to make my own. This was last month's technique class project.I have used the tart and tangy stamp set and one smart cookie stamp set for the cards. I have also used some of the perfect day rubons. But the main ingredient was the new DS Summer Picnic Paper which is just gorgeous.

The colours are Real red, only orange, old olive and bashful blue. This was such good fun to make! I am really pleased with the finished product!

Engagement Card

I made this engagement card the other nite and I am really pleased with how it looks. The stamp set is Always out of the new mini catty stamped in chocolate chip and pretty in pink on whisper white and cut out and raised up with dimensions. The Paper out of the Berry Bliss DS Paper Pack and the new satin choc chip ribbon is beautiful to work with. I used the swirl out of the Priceless stamp set. I can see me getting a lot of use out of the always stamp set, its so versatile.

Bronc Buster

I made this card for my Pa's 90th Birthday what a milestone hey! He loves horses so this one's for you Pa! I have used the Bronc buster stamp set stamped in Chocolate Chip on Very Vanilla. I have roughed up the edges with the distressing tool and then sponged around the image and edges in Chocolate Chip ink. The background is using the swirly stamp out of the same set and the is stamped in Close to Cocoa on the same cardstock. I have made the tag using the slit punch and some twine. I have masked and lined it up with the stamp-a-ma-jig the happy birthday to have the happy at the top and birthday down the bottom. The 90th is stamped with short order numbers.

More Paper Piecing

I am on a roll at the moment with Paper piecing and using the Loads of Love Stamp set. Here is another card using the Loads of Love set. I have used the Apple Cider DS Paper out of the new Mini Catty. There really are no tricks to this one, so the colours are Choc Chip and Very Vanilla and River Rock ds ribbon.
