Christmas Card

I made this card as part of the challenge a couple of posts ago and forgot to post it so here it is. This is using the new Season of Joy out of the mini catty. The colours are old olive, creamy caramel, night of navy and real red. It feels to soon to start making Christmas Cards but I guess time slips away on us.

Birthday Card

I made this card for a birthday party Nicholas & Josephine went to on the weekend. I tried out Paper piecing which I really liked especially with this truck design. The colours are Real red and River Rock and the Dashing DS Paper. I have used the star punch in both sizes and the corner punch as well. The stamp sets are loads of love and Its your birthday. I have hand written the number 4 inside the star.

Colour Challenge No 17

This is Kristina's lastest colour challenge don't you just love this dress. As soon as I seen the picture I couldn't wait to get my hands on some stamps to start because I was so excited to use these colours. I have been trying to upload this card for ages as the computer network must have been down, but any way the stamps I used are the wild rose stamp set. No tricks just two step stampin and I lined it all up with the stamp-a-ma-jig. I used my white gel pen to put some dots along the top and also around the scallop circle.

colour challenge no 16

This is Kristina's 16th colour challenge. This photo is so cute, I just love those baby shoes. When I looked at this picture I just thought baby so that is the card I made a baby card. The stamp set I used was the Nursery Necessities and the polka dot background stamp. The stars were cut out with the stampin up punches. I am really really happy with this card.

Kids cards

These are the cards we made at the Kids card days held at Bribbaree and Young. We had two great days of stamping with the kids and their mums. It was a lovely way for the mums to spend some quality time crafting with their children. Stay posted for the details of classes for the next school holidays.

Birthday Card

This is the card I made little Max for his first birthday. The colours are soft sky, blue bayou and whisper white. The stamp sets used are ABC Alphabet Upper, Short order numbers, Family Phrases and Celebrate Everyday out of the new mini Catty. I just masked off the saying underneath the elephant and also masked the happy birthday and used the stamp-a-ma-jig to line it all up.

One of a kind

When I sat down to make a card last night I had in my mind that I wanted to use something out of the new mini catty and also use a button to qualify for Mel's challenge. So I opened my buttons first and thought I will use one that I have a lot of. Hence, the colour choice I don't think I have used one Mustard button, so that is how I choose the colours for this card. The colours are More Mustard and Close to Cocoa. The stamp set is One of a Kind out of the new Mini Catty.
So this is a entry for Mel's challenge you can check her blog out here http://melhanlon.blogspot.com Thanks for looking.

Sympathy Card

This is a sympathy card I made for my very dear friend who has just lost her mum. The stamp set is out of the new mini catty Bloomin with beauty. The saying is out of the Close as a Memory Stamp set and the DS paper is out of the Fall flowers papers. I have finished with Soft Sky double stitched ribbon and the new silver hodgepodge out of the new mini catty. I wanted to give her something special so made her a special photo frame with a picture of her mum. (sorry about the quality of the pic I just couldn't get it any better) I have used the pretties kit and the Illuminations stamp set. I actually put this into a white wooden frame before giving it to her which finished it off just nicely.

Pick a Petal

I made this card for a workshop a couple of weeks back. The colours are Mellow Moss, Almost Amethyst, Regal Rose and Whisper White. I stamped the petal directly onto paper and cut them out. I cut out a circle with my circle punch and stuck a clear button over the top for the centre of the flower. I have finished off with some ribbon from the Fairy Tale ribbon originals pack and two brads. I hope you like it...... I am still playing with all my new goodies from the new mini catty will keep u posted with some of my creations....

Bloomin Beautiful

I am soooo excited I received my pre order today from the new Mini Catty. I was like at kid at Christmas time when I ripped open the box, I just wanted to play and look at all the stuff I ordered. After looking at them I sat down to mount them and wow you all will be so excited to find all the stamps in the new mini catty are die cut. That means just punch out and stick on and there you are ready to stamp. Stampin Up have done that for us and have absorbed the cost, isn't that just so generous. Anyways, I was still so excited I just had to make a card but what a dilemma, which stamp set do I use first. Welllll...... after looking at them all again I just couldn't decide which one so I decided to go with the first set on the first page of the new catty. So here it is and using my trusty colour coach I went with these colours, Creamy Caramel, Temping Turquoise and Chocolate Chip. I also used the sanded background stamp stamped in Choc Chip. I should have my supply of Mini Catty in a couple of weeks so if you would like to receive one just email me with your details.

Colour Challenge No 14

I had fun with this colour challenge. I am getting organised for a technique class tomorrow so I didn't have a lot of time to make this card but I did go for a simple look. I am loving this level one hostess set I have used it heaps and heaps. Anyway here is my card and I'm off to finish getting organised for tomorrow.
