Wild Rose Stamp Set

I got the inspiration for this card from alisa tilsner's blog. The stamp set used is the Wild Rose Stamp Set and the En Francis background stamp. The colours I used are Soft Sky, Blue Bayou, Always Artichoke and Whisper White. I have used the distressing tool around the edges and finished with not quite navy brads. All the stamping was lined up with the stamp-a-ma-jig. We made this card at the last card day but I am just getting around to post it.

More Crayon Resist as promised

Here are the other crayon resist cards that the girls got to choose from.. This group is using the Time Well Spent Level 3 Hostess Gift and the colours are Certainly Celery and Ballet Blue. They were heaps of fun to make. These seven cards were all made from one sheet of A4 crayon resisted paper. I provided a template so the girls could cut them out to make their seven cards.
This group is using the Bold Butterfly stamp set and this group of cards was inspired by my upline Kim. The colours here are Regal Rose and Bashful Blue, a really pretty colour combination I think..... I am feeling very privileged I have just been tagged... thanks caroline c... hope you like these cards as well.....(lol). I will get back to the tagging later I have to put some thought into that (omg)....

Gate Fold Cards

I decided to have a go at last weeks tutorial on splitcoast stampers and this is what I have come up with. This is using the Baroque Motifs set and the circle of friendship. The colours are Groovy Guava and River Rock. I have also used the Designer Lable punch. I loved making these cards, it was so much fun and I was really pleased with the outcome. This is the other card I made. I used the scribble this set and the circle of friendship again. The colours are Soft Sky and Blue Bayou. I have watercoloured the flower although it does look white in the picture (sorry) I used soft sky ink with the aqua painter. I finished off with a rhinestone. Gotta have a bit of bling.....

Note Cards and Box

Today is catch up day! I have been looking around my craft room at the things I have made and havn't posted. I made these notes cards and tin ages ago and have been meaning to post them but have been a bit slack. Most of you would have seen them because they have been to a few workshops and days now but anyway the details are: Garden Whimsey stamp set and the For You stamp out of the ocassional greetings set. The Cardstock is River Rock and and Dashing DS Paper. I have used the Scallop Circle punch and the 1/16 circle punch. I had heaps of fun making this because I had to eat all of the chocolate out of the tin so I could fit the note cards in... LOL.... the tin I used is a heaven chocolate tin very yummy....

Mothers Day Cards

Well girls you have been asking for Mothers Day card ideas so here they are...... This is a Gate Fold card that was last weeks tutorial on Splitcoast Stampers. I have used Groovy Guava and River Rock my new favourite colour. The stamp set used was Baroque Motifs. I finished with a Rhinestone and the new designer label punch which has a circle of friendship stamped in Groovy Guava on Naturals Ivory cardstock.
This card is using River Rock and Groovy Guava as well and also the Baroque Motifs stamp set. The Mothers Days stamp is out of the ocassional greetings set. I finished with some River Rock Ribbon and a clear Rhinestone and did some dry embossing with the crop a dile along the side...

This set was one of the cards we made at our last day in April, so for those of you who didn't make it, here it is. I used the Blossoms Abound Stamp Set and the cardstock is Whisper White, Perfect Plum, Pale Plum and Mellow Moss. Very cute i think with the matching bookmark...
This is the Blossoms Abound set again but this time I have used Elegant Eggplant and Always Artichoke.

Its a boy!!!!!

I made this criss cross card and box with the little tags in it for a friend of mine who has just had a baby boy. The colours used are Night of Navy, Bashful Blue and Whisper White and the stamp sets used are bundle of Joy, Nursery Necessities and the Nursery Letters Wheel.... I had heaps of fun making the criss cross card and the tags, it was great to do something a little different.

Garden Whimsey

Sorry about the quality of this photo, but I was in a hurry and this is the best I seemed able to come up with. The stamp set used is Garden Whimsey and the cardstock is whisper white, purely pomegranate and wild wasabi. The edges have been roughed up a bit using the distressing tool. I used the new scallop circle punch which i just love..... and finished with some wild wasabi double stitched ribbon....
