Mojo Monday Challenge 79

I have been wanting to play along with this challenge all week but only just squeezed in a few minutes before I picked Nicholas up off the bus. I think I will only squeeze in because there is a new Mojo Monday challenge out today sometime. I used the Cheers to You stamp set and coloured with my blender pens. The colours are Bashful Blue and Pacific Point. Sorry about the dark photo but I don't have time to take another one at the moment. Ok time for me to change my stampin hat and put on my chefs hat......yuck......

Easter Bunny handbaggy

I found this great tutorial this morning on how to make this gorgeous little Easter Bunny hand baggy as my Josephine has named it. We have made this together this morning as our little craft time together because Nicholas has gone to Pre-school. She thought she was very special getting to help mummy in her craft room which is normally out of bounds. I managed to persuade her to sit it on the table while I took a picture but as you can see by her hand she wasn't letting it out of her sight for long she just loves it.......She said "it would be just perfect when the choccies arrive mummy"..... I have pretty much followed the tutorial so if you would like to make one click on the link above.... I hope you are having a fantastic day.....

Last years Easter Scrapbook Page

I am finally getting last years easter page completed. I am just trying to catch up with my scrapbooking but am about 12 months behind in all my albums. I used the Good Egg stamp

set to complete this page ( sorry about the flash in the middle of the page but I couldn't get a good picture without it). I also used the Spring Fling DS Paper some sage shadow & so saffron cardstock and the nice wide ribbon from Sherbet Ribbon pack. I am really happy with this layout. Hope you like it and are getting some time to craft on this lovely sunny sunday afternoon....

Keeshs Sketch Challenge

Well it certainly has been a while since I have had time to play along with one of Keesh's Challenges. This week was a Sketch challenge so what a perfect opportunity to get back into the swing of things...... I have used Riding Hood Red and Kiwi Kiss for the colours. These are two of our new in colours for this catalogue season.....The stamp set I have used is Bloom Away which is a lovely Australian set. I water coloured with my blender pen and the Stamp pads onto watercolour paper. I also stamped the for you onto watercolour paper although on this picture it looks a different colour. I assure you that they are exactly the same IRL. I'd be liking the Good Morning Sunshine DS Paper as well. In actual fact there isn't to much I don't like in this new catalogue.....I had a little add up of my wish list tonite........Need I say anymore.......lol......

Hi guys, Sorry for the lack of posts recently but I have been flat out. We had the wedding last Saturday and I am happy to say that I managed to finish all the church booklets and place cards on time. But I did forget to take a photo. The wedding was lovely and on Sunday I had my card day where everyone made the card organiser and birthday book. There were some great books made on the day with everyone having a different idea which gave there book some individuality (if that's a word). This is a christening card that I made a couple of weeks ago and haven't had time to post. I am looking forward to taking part in some challenges over the next couple of days, so hopefully I will be back with some more cards for you soon.

Bloom Away

Part of the perks of being a demonstator with stampin up is we get a pre-order to the new catalgoue which is where I got this Bloom Away set from. Speaking of the new catalgoue I just checked on the stampin up website and OMG my boxes of catalogues shipped yesterday!!!!! Being my rural location I am hoping that they will be here tomorrow....talk about pacing the floor in anticipation.....I am trying to be calm and just wait....... Ok onto the card......I have used Kraft cardstock for the background and stamped it with the weathered stamp in Sahara Sand. I then used mellow moss and some faux stitching. I stamped the banksia image onto watercolour paper with stazon on. I then used my markers and aqua painter to colour it in......I finished off with some ribbon from the theatre ribbon pack that is due to retire at the end of the month....OMG how exciting we are getting a new catalogue.......................

Gift card holder

Nicholas had a birthday party to go to today so I quickly wipped one of Keesh's MIM's using the 5 in 1 template that is due to retire at the end of the month. This cute little holder holds the card and the gift card. I think they are really handy to have a few made up for the kids when they get asked to birthday parties. The colours are brillant blue and pumpkin pie and Jersey Shore DS Papers.....Oh yes and I also used It's your birthday which as also retiring at the end of the month. I hope I covered everything if not just email me and I will be happy to fill you in....

New Rooster Rubbah

When I seen this Rooster set as part of our pre-order I just had to have him. He is just so cute, he looks just like my rooster that roams my garden..... These are two of the new in colours this year as well Riding Hood Red and Kiwi Kiss. I used my background stamp sanded for the background and the wording is stamped out of the same set the rooster came in. I finished with some twine and a clear button with a choc chip circle behind it. I also lightly sponged around each piece of layered cardstock and the rooster. The question is do you like the rooster as well??????

Keeshs Sketch Challenge

Keesh set this challenge a couple of weeks ago and here I was thinking that I had plenty of time. Wow doesn't the time fly.... Nicholas is at preschool today so I thought I might get some stamping time in but Josephine has had other ideas. I would just get her settled with something and she would appear at my craft room door again "Can I help u Mummy!" So this is mine and Joesphine's combined effort. I have used the Bold Butterfly which is now retiring. I hope you like it.....

Polished Stone

Hi guys, I still have a pile of challenges that I wanted to get done this week and have had no time to do them. I guess I will just keep adding to them and see what next week brings..... I have been busy making wedding invitations which I forgot to photograph in my rush to get them sent out. I am now working on the booklet for the church so hopefully I won't forget to photograph that one...... So I havn't had a lot of time to create anything new so I am just popping in here to show you some more cards from last months class. This card is another card that Lorraine made at class using her left over scraps from the previous card a couple of posts down..... Donna also was at my class she made this gorgeous card below. She escaped on me without me photographing the rest of her cards but she has a blog and you can check out her cards that she made on the day as well as all her lovely scrapbooking here. I hope you are having a lovely day and enjoying it............

Retirement List

Well wait no more the retirement List is here! After my initial shock at seeing some of my good ole favourites being retired, I then had a little preview of some of the new hostess sets that will be available in the new catalogue. OMG! They are just gorgeous. Keep these in mind for the next catalogue and book your parties now!!!! So instead of being sad about what is being retired I am being really excited about what is new.................You can find the retired list here.

Just remember some of the In colour items are already gone and things will disappear really quickly so if there is something you must have, email me quickly so I can get it ordered for you.
Have a great day!
