Petal Prints

Keesh set this challenge through the ESAD Group and I decided to play along. I have had heaps of trouble with this one. It is blowing an absolute gail here this afternoon and my hayfever is not coping so I decided to give this a go, but I think my head was a little foggy this afternoon. I think I should have chosen the lounge and the new mini catty instead....lol.....Did I tell you there is a new minni catty out on the 1st December. Whoohooo look out there is some fantastic stuff in it, sure to blow the budget right out the window. Ok back to the card..... I used petal prints & spring Solitude and Circle of Friendship. You can't tell in the photo but the soft sky flowers have dazzling diamonds on there. This card looks better IRL but they normally do with my photography skills.......

Its my Mums Birthday today and I made her this very special card. I think that is so nice to be able to sit down and make a lovely card that comes from the heart. I used the fabulous flowers stamp set and used the thumping technique as well. I used my cuttlebug swirls for the background and also my corner rounder with the guard off and the 1 1/4" circle punch. The saying is out of the wonderful favourites stamp set. So happy birthday Mum you are the best!....

Anniversary Card

I made this card for some very special friends of mine who are celebrating 30 years of marriage. The colours are Soft sky and Whisper White. I embossed the love hearts in white embossing powder on soft sky card stock. I used the Fall Flowers DS Paper and my cuttlebug edges to do the embossed dots. The white cardstock is scalloped around using the corner rounder with the guard off and the 1 1/4" circle punch to punch out the circles in the middle of the scallops. The hearts are out of the always stamp set in the current mini catalogue and saying is out of the Cheer & Wishes stamp set.

More Onsies

I have been loving making these little onsies so here is another one that I have made. I think I promised to show you these a while ago. I have heaps of stuff made to show you I just havn't photographed it yet. That seems to be what takes the time with me. This one is made using the polka dot background stamp and the short & sweet stamp set which is on special until the end of the month with 20% off. Make sure you don't miss out on that one as it is a great set to have. I hope I have inspired you to stamp something today......

Sympathy Card

I made this card yesterday as a Sympathy Card but I do love those tree stamps they are just so versatile. These are great cards to have because unfortunately we do always need them. I used the sanded background stamp in Sahara Sand on Kraft cardstock which is mounted onto the Chocolate Chip. I used my markers on the tree, old olive and chocolate chip. I then finished with some wide grossgrain ribbon in old olive. It is a fairly plain card but was the effect I was after I hope you have time to do some stamping today.

Challenge Entry

This is my entry for the weekly challenge on the ESAD Website that is set by Keesh each week. The challenge was a trifold card which I hadn't made before and I had it in my head that I wanted use the Broc Buster set but make a girls card out of it. So that is what I did and I started with the choc chip and pretty in pink bases and then layered the Berry Bliss DS Paper on it. I really did want to stamp a pink horse but it just didn't look right so I had to be happy with a Choccy chip horse. The background is stamped in linen and sponged around in pink and choc chip. I have used my distressing tool to distress around the edges. And of course I used that fab crop-a-dile to set my jumbo eyelets. I actually made two cards and the other one had ribbon tied on it but it just wasn't right so I am using this card for my entry. Have a great day!

Post it Note Holder

I made this last nite after reading Keesh's make it Monday. I used the Summer Picnic DS Paper with the cherries on it. I live about 50kms west of Young and Young is the cherry capital of Australia and it is coming up to our Cherry Festival time. So i decided the paper with the cherries on it was very fitting to use as a gift for our visitors that we have during that time. I carn't wait for my first feed of cherries this year........

Christmas Gift Card Holder

I made this gift card holder the other day. Jayne Mercer demonstrated how to make these out of a stampin up envelope at the Stampin Up Regionals in Sydney. The actual design is the same size as a ATC and then I just stuck it to the envelope, but first I added some wild wasabi ribbon so that it can be tied shut. This is so easy all you really do is cut the flap of your envelope in half and stick one side down and leave the other open so you can slip your gift card inside. I also stamped the inside with a little saying. I used the sanded background stamp on the kraft cardstock and the celebrate everyday stamp set which has been embossed in black and watercoloured. I think these are just so cute and if you are a giftcard person for christmas it makes the giving a little more personal. Enjoy the rest of your day!

Colour Challenge No 26

I really didn't have time to do Kristina's challenge today but I made time all those jobs will just have to wait.....lol.... I'm sure the fairy's won't come in and do them for me....... So here is my card. It's a very simple one today but I actually am quite pleased at how it turned out. I used my favourite new toy the cuttlebug machine for the bashful blue cardstock. I used the friendship stamp out of the Celebrate Everyday stamp in set in the spring mini catty. Hope you are all enjoying your day.....

Baby Card

I have been playing around with these cards all day and I had a thought that I could enter one of these in the ESAD challenge that is running this week - Stampless cards. So I used the DS Paper Spring Fling & Whisper White cardstock. The welcome baby is a rubon out of the Spring Mini. So this is the finished product. I couldn't get a really good photo tonite because it is so late but I wanted to get this on so I could enter. Will be back tomorrow with the rest of these cuties that I have made.....edited to add: got a better photo this morning!

Snow Flurries

This is another card using the same Snow Flurries Stamp set that I promised yesterday. This is such a cheap versatile set. I have used Soft Sky, Whisper White and Night of Navy. I then added the Merry Christmas setiment out of the Many Merry Messages Stamp Set. This was a very quick card to make.

Bad Blogger

Thats me I'm definately a bad blogger. Sorry guys the school holidays just sort of caught up on me and we also went away for a week or so. I did take all my card making gear with me away on holidays (wasn't a lot of room left for the rest of the stuff...lol.....) So I do have heaps of stuff to show you but I don't have any of it photographed yet. I have also been really busy preparing for all the events and workshops I have coming up. So bear with me I will get there...... This is a card I made using the snow flurries stamp set for a swap I was involved in. I have also turned the same design into a Christmas Card which I will post later. The colours I used here are Regal Rose, Whisper White and Certainly Celery.

Bronc Buster

I was looking at Kristina's colour challenge last nite and needed to make a Male Birthday Card so I thought how about I try to combine the two well it didn't work. This is the card I came up with using all the colours specified but the old olive I just couldn't get it in there to make it look right. I used the metallic brayer technique that steph showed us how to do on the ESAD Site. I am really happy with the result. What do you think?
