I followed Keesh's sketch challenge for this card I made this morning. I choose the Level 2 Hostess Set Rustic Rooster and coloured him with my black, real red, more mustard & old olive marker. When I was a kid, Dad & I had a prize rooster that was black, I was looking through some photo's the other day and that ole rooster is what gave me the inspiration for this card. I have used basic black cardstock & the DS Paper from the Riding Hood Red pack. I am really happy with how this card turned out. I haven't stamped it with a sentiment yet because I would like to give it to my dad I think and am waiting for an occasion, so I can stamp a sentiment at a later date. Anyways I hope you like it and are enjoying this lovely rain that we have been desperately waiting for............. For some reason this morning I carn't upload a picture of the sketch so I will have to get back to you with that one.Thursday, June 4, 2009
Black Rooster not Rustic Rooster

Hi Mandy! This is a fantastic `card for your Dad- I'm sure he will love it and it will bring back great memories for him too. (Father's Day is not that long away!!) We have been having a bit of rain lately too-so good to see-I'm not complaining one bit!!
