I got the inspiration for this card from alisa tilsner's blog. The stamp set used is the Wild Rose Stamp Set and the En Francis background stamp. The colours I used are Soft Sky, Blue Bayou, Always Artichoke and Whisper White. I have used the distressing tool around the edges and finished with not quite navy brads. All the stamping was lined up with the stamp-a-ma-jig. We made this card at the last card day but I am just getting around to post it.

Pretty Petal Prints
This card has been sitting on my desk for ages because I wasn't sure where I was going with it. So tonite I decided I was going to finish it so here it is. The stamp set I used was Petal Prints and it is stamped in Rose Red, Regal Rose and Purely Promegrante. I also added the Night of Navy to give it a lift. It is mounted on all these colours and the edges roughed up with the distressing tool. I finished off with a rhinestone. I am quite happy with the finished product what do you think?

Gate Fold Cards
I decided to have a go at last weeks tutorial on splitcoast stampers and this is what I have come up with. This is using the Baroque Motifs set and the circle of friendship. The colours are Groovy Guava and River Rock. I have also used the Designer Lable punch. I loved making these cards, it was so much fun and I was really pleased with the outcome.
This is the other card I made. I used the scribble this set and the circle of friendship again. The colours are Soft Sky and Blue Bayou. I have watercoloured the flower although it does look white in the picture (sorry) I used soft sky ink with the aqua painter. I finished off with a rhinestone. Gotta have a bit of bling.....

Its a boy!!!!!
I made this criss cross card and box with the little tags in it for a friend of mine who has just had a baby boy. The colours used are Night of Navy, Bashful Blue and Whisper White and the stamp sets used are bundle of Joy, Nursery Necessities and the Nursery Letters Wheel.... I had heaps of fun making the criss cross card and the tags, it was great to do something a little different.
Garden Whimsey
Sorry about the quality of this photo, but I was in a hurry and this is the best I seemed able to come up with. The stamp set used is Garden Whimsey and the cardstock is whisper white, purely pomegranate and wild wasabi. The edges have been roughed up a bit using the distressing tool. I used the new scallop circle punch which i just love..... and finished with some wild wasabi double stitched ribbon....

Pretties Kit
I have been busting to use the pretties kit since I got my box of goodies last thursday but I just havn't been able to get to it. Last nite I sat down for the first time and had a play with the pretties kit..... and I 'm lovin it..... This card was inspired by a friend of mine who loves shabby chic.....(i think she has it in her bedroom, so when you are reading this you will no who you are). I started with white card stock and brushed around the edges with pretty in pink ink then mounted some of the new textured paper in pretty in pink (which I am also loving). Then I stuck with glue dots the large flower which i touched up with a sponge dauber and pretty in pink ink. I stuck a pearl in the middle of the flower and three down the bottom of the card. I faux stitched around the white cardstock and stamped happy mothers day in pretty in pink. This stamp is out of the Occassional Greetings stamp set. Then I had some fun with the hat pin and some clear beads and pearls. Tada there you have it a beautiful mothers day card...... I hope you like it.....
