Birthday Card

I made this card for my Dad's Birthday. I actually enjoyed sitting down and having a play with watercolouring today. I usually get a little worried when I start to watercolour because I worry about the end result. I still don't think I am very good at it but I really liked how this card has turned out. When I watercolour I generally use Watercolour paper, Markers and an the aqua painter. Today I used a Blender Pen instead of the Aqua Painter and was really surprised by the results. This stamp is from the For Father stamp set. The colours are Chocolate Chip and Garden Green. I have also used a Metal Tag and HB out of the It's your Birthday stamp set. Oh yes I nearly forgot the Background has been stamped with the Sanded Background stamp. Have a great day wherever you may be.......

Very nice Mandy - a perfect card for your Dad. I like that way of watercolouring - not that I am good at it mind you!

A fantastic card Mandy - cards for the fellas are never easy - but I bet your dad loved this one! Great job on the colouring...

Those colours look great together on a masculine card and I like your little tab on the left hand side!
