I seen these cute little Angels on Alana's blog and i just couldn't wait to make them. They are made out of the fabulous flowers stamp set, the pretties kit and a piece out of the silver hodgepodge. I fell in love with them as soon as I saw them. So I will be making a few more of these for our Christmas tree this year. So far I have made this one in Pretty in Pink and one in Soft sky. Scrapbooking Page

Goodmorning Everyone! I have finally decided to show you some of my scrapbooking. I realised I have been putting my cards on here but not my scrapbooking. So today is the day to introduce you to my scrapbooking. When I scrapbook I like to use a 12 x 12 page and for me its a story with photo's, so I like to use a lot of photos to a double page. I hope you like my style because after looking around other people blogs it is a little different. Ok down to the details, I used Kraft, Brocade Blue, Mellow Moss, Close to Cocoa and Confetti Cream cardstock. Inks were Sahara Sand, Close to Cocoa, Brocade Blue, Mellow Moss & So Saffron. The stamp sets I used were Life's a Breeze, Something Fishy jumbo wheel & Enjoy Every Moment out of the Spring Mini Catalogue, Remember tomorrow is the last day for ordering this one......It's a great set.....

Kids Christmas Decorations

I had some fun the other day with the kids doing same kiddy craft. We decided to make some Christmas Decorations with "Mummy's Stampin Stuff" - OMG!!!!! I took a few big deep breaths and handed an ink pad each to my two year old and four year old. They had an absolute ball but to their dismay Mummy had to do the glitter bit. The colours were picked by Nicholas and Josephine. Nicholas wanted a yellow decoration and Josephine wanted a Pink decoration. So that is what we have made. We used the Chipboard pieces out of the Spring Mini Catty, only a couple of days left for ordering these.... I then stuck a piece of acetate to the back using tombow and then filled it with chunky glitter and then stuck another piece of acetate on the top to keep all the glitter in. We then punched a hole with the Cropadile and set a large eyelet and threaded some ribbon through. We had to have a Merry Christmas on there so we stamped that on a piece of white and punched it out and stuck to another piece of chipboard. The kids had heaps of fun.......

Keeshs Sketch

This was one of the first sets that I fell in Love with in the new Summer Mini Catty. I have been busting to use it and this was the perfect opportunity, Keesh's Sketch Challenge. This little puppy reminds me off our new chocolate brown kelpie that the kids have named "Choc" short for Chocolate......That is why the puppy is watercoloured in Choc Chip. Ok I have used Chocolate Chip, Creamy Caramel and Close to Cocoa for the coloured and I have watercoloured using the crayons and the aqua painter. I have used two Background stamps being sanded and weathered. The puppy stamp is out of the For Father set.

Mel's Challenge

I made this card for Mel's Challenge, which was to make a Christmas card out of Non-traditional Christmas colours. I used Soft Sky, Close to Cocoa and Confetti Cream. The stamp set I used is Season's of Joy. Oh yes and I also used a bit of DS Paper out of the notebook range.

Keeshs inspiration challenge

I made this card for Keesh's weekly challenge. This week was an inspiration challenge where Keesh provided this photo and we had to make a card from it. Stars

Hi I thought I would give u a break today from the bombardment of Christmas Cards that I have been posting lately. This was such a quick card to make. I just used my Classic Stars jumbo wheel inked in Wild Wasabi on Wild Wasabi card stock. Cut some DS Paper out of the East Coast Prep paper pack and cut out some co-ordinating stars with the star punches. Real Red, Tempting Turquoise and More Mustard. Finished with a Birthday Cheer & Wishes out of the Cheer & Wishes stamp set.... Hope you like it

Christmas Card

This is another Christmas Card using the Festive Favourites stamp set it matches the one i showed on this post. The colours are Kraft, Wild Wasabi and Whisper White. I have watercoloured using the crayons and the aqua painter. I always use the other end of my crayon and pick the colour up first onto the aqua painter and the paint. I find that easier then drawing the crayon onto the cardstock and smudging it with the aqua painter. I hope that makes sense.

I changed this a little bit to make it my own, the colours are River Rock, Wild Wasabi & Purely Pomegrante and they are stamped with the stamps out of the Seasons of Joy stamp set. This stamp set is out of the Mini Catty that finishes on the 30th November, its a great stamp set be sure to get one. Christmas Again

I made this card the other day and just had it sitting on my desk unfinished because I was unsure where to go with it. So today was the day to get some things on my desk finished and this is one of my projects. The base of the card is whisper white and then I used the wintergreen DS paper. I had these rhinestones things laying around for a while and the are not stampin up so I just wanted to use them up thats why there are so many on this card. I used the corner punch with the guard off to scallop along the edges. I stamped the tree out of the seasons of joy stamp set and the saying out of the short and sweet stamp set and punched that out with the oval punch. I finished off with some white taffeta and soft sky double stitched ribbon. I hope you like it....

Christmas Card

For this card I have used Wild Wasabi for the base and layered it with Kraft cardstock which has been stamped in Sahara Sand with the Season of Joy Stamp set from the Spring Mini Catty. I then layered those colours again and finished off with Confetti Cream cardstock and the stamped Xmas Tree is stamped in Wild Wasabi. I used the slot punch to thread the Old Olive Grossgain ribbon through and tie it twice.

I have a couple of ladies who look at my blog every day (thats the ones I no of). So this card is for you ladies. I no that you have been looking for black and silver Christmas Cards and you liked the white and blue snowflake card, so I have adapted these colours for you. I have used the metallic silver cardstock for the base of the card and then mounted basic black ontop and embossed the silver snowflakes and the Season's Gretting saying. I finished with some basic grey taffeta ribbon. I hope you like it ladies....................................

Birthday Card

It was my cousin's birthday yesterday and this is the card I made for her. She loves black and white and they are the colours I used. She sent me a text tonite to say thank you so I no I can post it as she has received it. I got the original idea for the card from Teneale Williams who is a very talented stamper. I used black stazon and the baroque background stamp. I actually didn't have my stazon pad juicy enough and ended up having to colour a lot of spots with a black marker but it still looks good. I used a piece of black cardstock down the side and finished with the white taffeta ribbon and a hat pin from the pretties kit. Hope you are having a great day!

Another Wedding card

Ok I loved the last card so much I recreated it using Soft Sky. I really wanted to use soft sky for my first card but pink kept calling out to me. I think it is because Keesh has just redesigned her web page and its such a lovely soft pink. You can check it out here

Christmas Card

This is one of the card's we made at Friday Night's Girls Night In Stamp-a-thon. I am showing you this card first and will get back with some of the others later on. The colours are Whisper White and Purely Pomegrante. I used the Holiday Harmony DS Paper on top of the Whisper White and then layered the purely pomegrante and then the whisper white to stamp on. I used the Crazy for Christmas stamp set, there were lots of different versions on the night not just the presents, but also trees & the ornaments. When I made this card I wanted to used pink as pink is the colour for the girls night in. We raised 347.00 for the cancer council on the night and it was lots of fun. One thing I did forget on the night was my camera to take photo's of everybody stamping but I do have photo's of the cards.
